I got surprised on this episode. It’s different. The setting – someone’s taking a video most likely a documentary or a special coverage on who are the surgeons and what do they do in Seattle Grace – Mercy West Hospital few months after the tragic shooting happened.
I didn’t catch some “quotable quotes” this time.
Alex just proved here that he was really suited for peds. The four surgeons – Mark, Owen, Derek, and Callie made a wonderful job giving their patient a new set of arms. It was sad though for Bailey that after what seems to be a successful operation, her patient didn’t wake up. Leaving her patient’s husband to make a hard decision to cut off his wife’s life support.
This episode left me with a few questions:
-Arizona and Callie moving out to Africa – are they leaving Grey’s Anatomy?
-What happened to Avery back when he was trying to revive a patient when they got locked out?
These make me look forward to the succeeding episodes of this season!
There you are. I know you were in there somewhere. End of this day, good or bad, we’re gonna go home together.

Breakthroughs don’t happen because of the medicine. Real breakthroughs happen because someone is scared to death to stop trying.

We all want to grow up, we’re desperate to get there. To grab all the opportunities we can..to live. We’re so busy to get out off that nest. We don’t think about the fact that it’s going to be cold out there. Really freaking cold. Because growing up sometimes means leaving people behind. And by the time we stand on our own two feet, we’re standing there alone.
Derek, looking proud at Meredith, that she’s able to operate without any attending on her side to assist her is really adorable.
Lexie’s scene where she’s sleeping on their locker room is funny. She’s got exhausted after doing all the intern’s work.
Personally, I like this episode. A lot of “action” for the residents. They were able to step up, well.. most of them. After episode 1, I’m putting this episode on my favorite list. How about you? 🙂
Biologist says that we are who we are from birth, that our DNA is set in stone – unchangeable.
Our DNA doesn’t account for all of us though, we’re human. Life changes us. We develop new traits, become less territorial.
For better or worse, we find ways to become more than our biology. The risk, of course, is that we could change too much. To the point we don’t recognize ourselves. Finding our way back can be difficult there’s no compass, no map. We just have to close our eyes, take a step, and hope to God we’ll get there.

I wouldn’t have picked you to be a part of my life. Professionally – sure… But personally – we wouldn’t have picked each other. But now, we’re family. And that means I worry about you.

McSteamy and McDreamy are finally back! Yey!! Grey’s Anatomy Season 7 premiered late September. This is the only TV Series that I’m looking forward to watch. Just want to write some memorable lines from this season.
Every cell in the human body regenerates on average every seven years. Like snakes, in our own way we shed our skin. Biologically we are brand new people. We may look the same, we probably do, the change isn’t visible at least in most of us, but we are all changed completely forever.
~ Meridith Grey, Se07Ep01
I know who she is and if she’s going through her worst right now, I wanna go through it with her. She makes me happier than anything I’ve ever known. And if I can have a part in making her happy again, that’s all I want to do. That’s all I want to do for the rest of my life.
~ Mark (McSteamy) Sloan referring to Lexie, Se07Ep02
More to come… 🙂
